Genesis Church exists to know Christ and to make Him known to others.
Genesis MCM is a house church model that seeks, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to:
- Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples
- Make disciples who can make disciples that can multiply endlessly
- Multiply small gatherings(micro-churches) to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth
What is a micro-church?
A micro-church is a spiritual family, with Christ at the center, that loves God, loves, others, and makes disciples.
Why is it a movement?
We want to be intentional about participating with God to advance the Great Commission.
What is a disciple?
A disciple is a follower of Jesus who loves God, loves people, and makes disciples.
Healthy Disciples:
- Prioritize their quiet time with God (Listening to God through prayer, reading scripture, and engaging in community with other disciples)
- Practice obedience to Jesus’ teachings
- Multiply through sharing God’s story(the Gospel), their story, and the things they are leaning as they grow in their walk with Christ
